The aim of this one-day course will enable you to meet your regulatory requirements and achieve the necessary First Aid training to be able to provide emergency treatment in the event of an individual injuring themselves or falling ill within the workplace.
The course syllabus includes the following:
- Scene assessment
- Primary survey
- CPR
- The unconscious casualty
- Choking
- Bleeding and shock
- Seizures
- First aid kits and reports
All courses are accredited through WorkSafe Training Systems.
All trainers delivering the First Aid training courses are qualified Instructors through WorkSafe. WorkSafe is an independent training provider following the guidelines set by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). These guidelines are detailed in the HSE document ‘Selecting a First Aid Training Provider’.Training providers must show ‘due diligence’ by having the relevant quality assurance systems in place. By Young Epilepsy using WorkSafe to accredit your training ensures that all areas of due diligence are covered.

First Aid at Work - FAW - Coming soon!
The First Aid at Work 3 Day training course meets the requirements of the Health and Safety Executive. It provides a comprehensive set of practical skills needed by first aiders in most workplaces, giving both the ability and knowledge to deal with first aid emergencies in medium and high-risk environments.
Emergency First Aid at Work - EFAW

Paediatric and Early Years First Aid - Coming soon!
This 2 Day Paediatric First Aid course focuses on emergency scenarios that can happen when looking after young children and infants. It meets the Ofsted Early Years and Childcare Register requirements.
Basic Life Support - BSL - Coming soon!
The Basic Life Support course teaches the knowledge and skills to identify the causes and promote the prevention of cardiopulmonary arrest. The recognition of cardiac arrest and the importance of calling for help and undertake the skills of quality CPR and defibrillation (AED) and simple airway manoeuvres.
