StarRun Colour Run: A Splash of Community and £12K Raised!

The annual StarRun at St Piers was bursting with colour, laughter, and local pride as the charity hosted its first-ever Colour Run earlier this month.

With over 140 participants and over £12,100 raised so far, the event was a resounding success.

StarRun invited runners to don their bright white St Piers t-shirts and take on either the 2.5 or 5-kilometre route featuring
multiple colour stations. The race was loud, fun, and undeniably memorable, but more than that, it brought together the St Piers community, including staff, students and families as well as local residents in support of a vital cause.

St Piers Colour Run 2025

“The StarRun Colour Run was a fantastic way to bring our community together while supporting all the amazing work that takes place right here at St Piers."

"We were thrilled to see so many smiling faces and splashes of colour across the campus”

said Nicki Gerrard, Community and Events Manager, adding

“A special thanks must go to our sponsor, Wingate Financial Planning for their continued support.”

Alongside the race, attendees enjoyed a full day of family-friendly entertainment, including face painting, games, food stalls, and music. The atmosphere and enthusiastic turnout surpassed expectations, with on-the-day registrations and donations contributing significantly to the fundraising total.

With the event's momentum and generous support from participants and sponsors, the team is already looking ahead to next year’s StarRun, promising an even bigger celebration!
