St Piers is an innovative and creative education setting for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities. These can include epilepsy, autism, and severe learning difficulties. We are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive environment where every young person is recognised as an individual with unique strengths, needs and aspirations.
Our purpose is to create an environment of growth, where young people can thrive and become a valued part of their community. We do this through our School, College and Residential Services, all on one campus in Lingfield, Surrey. Our integrated approach allows young people to benefit from consistent support, specialist expertise and a strong sense of belonging throughout their journey with us.
Our School
St Piers School provides specialist education for pupils aged 7 to 19. We have created an ambitious curriculum that is well designed and adapted to meet the needs of every learner. Our specialist staff work closely with each pupil to help them build confidence, develop communication skills and achieve academic success. We also focus on supporting emotional wellbeing and helping pupils develop important social skills that prepare them for the future.
Our College
St Piers College provides post-16 education for students aged 16 to 25. The College helps students develop the skills and qualifications they need for greater independence. Programmes include vocational learning, work experience, life skills and accredited qualifications across a range of subjects. Students are supported to explore their interests, build independence and prepare for adult life, including employment and community participation.
Our Residential Services
Both the School and College offer weekly residential boarding in single rooms in spacious, well-equipped houses. Our residential staff work closely with our therapy and medical teams to make sure pupils and students receive personalised support. Residential life also helps young people develop independence, confidence and friendships in a safe and nurturing environment.
St Piers Farm
Farming has been part of St Piers since its founding in 1897. Our farm remains a treasured part of campus life, offering every student a grounding experience that fosters wellbeing, confidence and a deep sense of belonging. Students grow, harvest and care for animals as part of their timetable, supporting both personal development and vocational learning, while reconnecting with nature and outdoor environments.
We are part of Young Epilepsy, the national charity dedicated to improving the lives of young people with epilepsy. Please get in touch if you would like to find out more about any of our services or arrange a visit.
