St Piers Residential Special School Rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted

St Piers Residential Special School (Children's Residential Services) is delighted to announce that its residential provision has been rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted, following a comprehensive inspection carried out from 11 to 13 March 2025.

The outstanding rating reflects the school’s unwavering commitment to providing exceptional care and education for children and young people with complex needs. The Ofsted report praised the school for delivering “highly effective services that consistently exceed the standards of good,” and for significantly improving outcomes and experiences for its students.

Inspectors highlighted the school’s safe, inclusive and vibrant environment, where students are empowered to thrive. A key strength noted was the “waking day curriculum”, which integrates learning and life skills throughout the day, supported by seamless collaboration between care, education, therapy, and health teams.
