Red nose day was a huge success here in St Piers College. In the morning we had games and stalls in the Nicholson Hall and a live web cam link to watch Lisa Bush and Tutees bounce–a-thon.
The Fabulous Natalie Comber had a White Elephant stall and many of us took that elephant home! Shelia Ramsey had a great games corner and Suky Harding ran a ‘Touch Feely’ stall where we had to blindly guess what was in the box. Corrine Taylor had a photo booth, Jane Young and Group were the buskers who bought us wonderful singing, sponge throwing was an outside attraction from Caroline’s group and quite a few people got soaked! There was fresh fruit, cakes and beverages for all, we ate well and donated well.
In the Afternoon Murray Smith, Angela Dobbs, with the help of Janet Haspinell, Ran the dance-a–thon. It was a music and video treat and the outcome was £628 raised for Red Nose day the best yet!
